Outwood Wharf is a new residential development located between Salford Central railway station and the city’s University Quarter, within easy walking distance of Manchester City Centre. It forms a significant part of a rapidly developing new urban neighbourhood.
Designed by IBI Group, Outwood Wharf comprises 246 apartments and townhouses in the form of six, eight and 18-storey blocks enclosing a central landscaped courtyard.
IBI’s design team turned around this major residential development from start to approval in just nine months. The high quality of the team’s design solution was validated by unanimous approval by the City’s Planning Committee. IBI is currently working on designs for an adjacent second phase.
